Notice of Amendment of Dog Ordinance to Include Domestic Animals
On November 24, 2020, the Select Board of the Town of Wells, Vermont, adopted amendments to the existing “Ordinance for the Control of Dogs” to include domestic animals as follows:
Domestic Animal: those animals defined by 6 V. S. A. 1151(2) as follows;
cattle, sheep, goats, equines, deer, American bison, swine, poultry, pheasant, Chukar partridge, Coturnix quail, psittacine birds, ferrets, camelids, ratites (ostriches, rheas, and emus), and water buffalo.
